got plans tonight? i do. i’m going to the 92nd st Y tribeca for post-holiday dance madness! i am still feeling not so great so i will probably not be dancing. but i will be laughing! my good friend katharine is bringing together her comedy troupe for their first show in six years and they are playing a dysfunctional family. i wonder if anyone can relate to that after the holidays? katharine was also a major force behind the groinstrong-a-thong in november. she is both funny and benevolent!

and of course kathryn (that is my lovely girlfriend, if you are confused) will be there with her usual sequins.

Katharine Heller Keep that champagne bubbly feeling going at dance-a-raoke with Katharine Heller whose “live action romance novel” The Boy in the Basement received critical acclaim in the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival including a four star review from Time Out NY. Hilarious, sexy and full of spontaneous energy, Heller, aided by Miss Fortune, hosts a motley crew of dancers and audience members as they take on tests of stamina, wit and awesome dance moves. 6:30pm happy hour. Event begins at 7:30pm.
