Mid-January

Can you guys believe it’s almost 2010? I know, me neither! What is going to happen to our novelty glasses? Seriously, I’m not sure how those numbers are going to fit on our faces. Maybe it’s time to switch to the Jewish calendar.

The first month of next year is going to be busy, even though I’m working part time. I’m seeing an oncological headache specialist on the 13th, I have a chest MRI the 15th, a PET/CT the 17th and then an appointment on the 19th to discuss all the results. If the trial isn’t underway by then, I think it’s likely that I’ll also start a new chemo regimen. This one will finally take my hair away so just in case I went and got a fancy salon cut today – if you got it, flaunt it!

After seeing the results of a couple friends shaving their heads to support me in the spring, I ask that you please consider carefully how terrifying you might look once bald before going mr. clean in my honor.

I shaved my head once. Indeed, the growing in was not fun. I will have to support your hair loss in some other way…

someone once told me the best way to support my big brother was to shave my head….

i think the best way to support you is to grow my hair out and anyway can you EVEN IMAGINE what i would look like were i to have no hair?

Happy New Year, Jonah! You have such a nice head, I couldn’t possibly compete. So I’ll leave the looking good without hair to you. :)
